DOCUMENTARY CINEMATOGRAPHER
The relationship between the natural world and people is Jordi´s main theme. He has been filming over 30 documentaries for broadcasters like BBC, National Geographic, Netflix, HBO among others; and has written, directed and produced three movies which have been screened in cinemas and broadcast internationally.
His ability to film action scenes of wild animals with long lenses and the filming of observational documentaries of people is remarkable. Although as a cinematographer he has worked on productions of the highest level combining different techniques such as drone, time-lapse, macro, lighting, sound, use of cranes, dollies, gimbals or even underwater filming.
His work and passion have given him the opportunity to travel around the world, filming in extreme natural environments such as the Arctic tundra of Greenland, the jungles of Asia and America, the grasslands of Central Asia, the African savannah, in deserts such as the Sahara or the Namib or on the high seas in the Mediterranean and the Atlantic.
Documenting the natural world and encourage people to protect it is his biggest motivation.
